About the Author

I write mid-20th-century mysteries set in Brooklyn that do not follow a formula. I'm an indie writer/publisher and accountable only to my own intentions. The novels are going to be complex, challenging, and difficult for the reader. I strive to get my readers thinking about the mystery to solve, about those times, and thinking about how similar those times were to today's events.

I was born and raised in a South Brooklyn neighborhood under the shadow of the local Polish Catholic church steeples and the watchful gaze of the Statue of Liberty. I'm a 2nd generation Polish American whose ancestors immigrated to America around 1910. Primarily, I'm a product of relatively frugal  education. I graduated from St. John the Evangelist Catholic school, Brooklyn Technical H.S,  City College of New York (CCNY) BS '75, and San Jose State University (SJSU) MA '81. I am eternally grateful and proud of my unique Polish Catholic and Brooklyn heritages, and public school educations.

Today, I write mysteries full time from northern California. I'm married, father of two sons.
